APPARATUS, METHOD AND PROGRAM FOR REPRODUCING IMAGE WITH EFFECT, AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effect image reproducing apparatus which provides an electronic image book to which a plurality of persons apply different effects by setting various effects to optional areas of respective pages of an image book according to their preference.

SOLUTION: The effect image reproducing apparatus stores a plurality of images to be fetched for each page, as electronic information and displays the images by page. The apparatus includes: an image storage means 11 which stores each page image; an effect area setting means 12 which sets each page image or a part of a page image as an effect area; an effect selection means 13 which selects a type of effects corresponding to the effect area as an effect; an effect reproducing means 14 which reproduces the effect when each page image is displayed or the effect area is selected; an effector recording means 15 which records the effects for each effector; and an effector selection means 16 which selects recorded effector during reproduction. The effectors set effects to each page image, and effects set by selected effectors are reproduced.
