<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server, device, method, and system for performing character decoration by a simple operation to a text input by a user. <P>SOLUTION: A character decoration server 10 is provided with a decoration configuration DB20 for storing the direction or rotation of a drag operation and the type of the decoration of characters in association, and configured to receive data showing a range operation for designating the range of characters to be decorated among characters received from a portable telephone set 50 from the portable telephone set 50, and to, as for the characters in the range designated by the data showing the received range operation, receive data showing a decorating operation to designate the decoration of characters by a prescribed operation including the direction or rotation of a drag operation from the portable telephone set 50, and to, on the basis of the type of the decoration of the characters associated with the direction or rotation of the drag operation included in the received data showing the decorating operation in the decoration configuration DB 20, determine the decoration of the characters in the designated range, and to transmit the data showing the determined decoration of the characters to the portable telephone set 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
