<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrugated board pallet designed so that even if its lower face is immersed in water, water is less likely to enter the insides of beam members, recycle is facilitated at a low cost and light weight and high strength are achieved, and to provide a paper beam member used therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The paper beam member 5a composing the corrugated board pallet includes: a rectangular column 8a formed from a base plate 10, outer plates 11a and 11b, upper plates 12a and 12b, inner plates 13a and 13b, and edge plates 14a and 14b; and a plurality of cylinders 9 set within the rectangular column 8a with a predetermined space between them. Edge plates 14a and 14b are folded in a mountain shape and accommodated inside the rectangular column.
