<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-size switch having a small number of components and small assembly man-hours, and capable of switching of contact instantaneously. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The switch is composed of a supporting terminal 21 assembled on a base 10, a movable contact member 30 which is a belt-shape conducting material of cross-sectionally nearly J-shape, has a movable contact 31 at one end, and of which the middle part is supported rotatably to a rotating receiving portion 24 of the supporting terminal 21, a plunger 40 which is housed movably upward and downward in the internal space formed by insertion engaging a housing 60 into the base 10, and a coil spring 50 which has a compulsive separation bending portion 53 at one end and is supported rotatably to the plunger 40. In particular, the plunger 40 is made to move upward and downward and makes pressure contact the one end of the coil spring 50 to the other end fringe of the movable contact member 30 to move sliding, and by reversing the movable contact member 30, the movable contact 31 is made to contact and separate from a fixed contact 26. Further, the top end portion of the compulsive separation bending portion 53 is locked to the other end fringe of the movable contact member 30, and gives a shear force to the movable contact 31 of the movable contact member 30.
