PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure that rising characteristics of a readout pulse are steep and that trailing characteristics of a transfer pulse are gradual without change in a driver side of the chip exterior. SOLUTION: As for vertical transfer pulsesϕV1 toϕV4 applied to pads 31/32, carrying out transmission via a first transmission path 41 including a resistance element 412 causes the trailing characteristics tf of the vertical transfer pulsesϕV1 toϕV4 made gradual. As for a readout pulseϕROP, carrying out transmission via a second transmission path 42 having a lower resistance value than that of the first transmission path 41 causes the rising characteristics tr of the readout pulseϕROP to be steep.
