<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aroma generator continuously generating mild aroma even after long term usage. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The aroma generator is composed by equipping an aroma generating part 1 formed of a porous material and comprising a body part 11 carrying out permeation sucking of an aromatic combustible liquid and a heating part 12 including a catalyst metal 12a of a heating catalyst in an outer circumference part of the body part 11, and a separate combustion body 2 comprising an aroma spreading part 21 being a porous lid body covering a top face part 11a of the body part 11 like a lid and formed facing the aroma generating part 1 and an auxiliary heating part 22 formed with a catalyst metal 22a of a heating catalyst on an outer circumference end and fixed in contact with the heating part 12.
