<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corneal electrode for an electroretinograph with an improved structure, capable of preventing bubbles from easily entering between a cornea and a corneal contact lens, and effectively ejecting bubbles if the bubbles enter. <P>SOLUTION: The corneal electrode is composed of a tubular body 4 comprising a ring-shaped mounting part 4a with the arch-shaped section, rising from the outer peripheral part toward the inner peripheral part and an inverted truncated cone-shaped holder part 4b, the corneal contact lens 6 located inside the holder part 4b of the tubular body, and a coil spring 8 stored inside the holder part 4b of the tubular body. One small-diameter end side of the coil spring is locked to the outer peripheral part of the corneal contact lens 6, and the other large-diameter end side is locked to the inner peripheral part of an outward projecting end side of the holder part 4b. The contour of the coil spring is inverted truncated cone-shaped on the whole and the coil spring permits the elastic displacement of the corneal contact lens 6 inside the holder part 4b with the three-dimensional flexibility while making the corneal contact lens 6 elastically abut on an entering eyeball. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
