PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent a brightness and an irregularity of a cap tube of a lamp by dispersing a hydrogen inside a glass tube through a preheating process. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display device comprises: a glass tube(121) including a mixed gas inside, which provides a light to a liquid crystal panel; a outer electrode formed in both sides of the exterior in a long axis direction of the glass tube; a cap tube(122a) inserted in both outer surfaces in a long axis direction of the glass tube; a first soldering layer(122b) composed with lead surrounding the cap tube; and a second soldering layer(122c) overlapping the cap tube on the top of the first soldering layer.
