摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy member subjected to surface treatment which is advantageous for suppressing self-wear and suppressing hostility to a mating member, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The aluminum alloy member includes a body including an aluminum alloy serving as a base material and an electrolytic oxide ceramic coating coated at least a portion of the surface of the body. The electrolytic oxide ceramic coating comprises the coating film in which the amount of aluminum oxide is richer on the inner side close to the body than on the outermost surface of the electrolytic oxide ceramic coating and the amount of titanium oxide or the total of the titanium oxide and zirconium oxide is richer on the outermost surface of the electrolytic oxide ceramic coating than on the inner side close to the body. The generation of surface protrusions is suppressed in the electrolytic oxide ceramic coating.
