<p>The invention relates to a device and a method for metering liquid pollutant-reducing media into an exhaust gas duct of an exhaust gas line of an internal combustion engine, with at least one metering means which is located in or on the exhaust gas duct and downstream to which, viewed in the flow direction of the exhaust gas upstream from a catalytic converter arrangement, a baffle body is connected such that the liquid which has been metered by means of the metering means strikes a baffle body for its distribution. According to the invention the baffle body is formed by a static mixer which has a plurality of preferably single-blade guide vane plates which project away from the mixer plane at a given angle and which are aligned such that the metered liquid, especially liquid droplets, strikes the plane of the guide vane plates essentially perpendicularly.</p> |
