AD-HOC ADAPTIVE WIRELESS MOBILE SOUND SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREFOR

PURPOSE: An ad-hoc adaptive wireless mobile sound system and a method thereof are provided to play surround music by imitating the function of a stereo system. CONSTITUTION: An initiator distinguishes the storage status of a specific tune/track by transmitting message/query to at least one mobile node. A transmission unit transports the compacted audio stream of a file to mobile nodes. A first software transports the compacted audio file with a streaming type through a wireless connection. A second software selects a proper surround configuration/algorithm setting based on a response to the query. A communications unit transmits the surround configuration/algorithm setting assigning a playback role/channel of each mobile node. A command unit synchronizes mobile nodes. The command unit transfers a command to mobile nodes in order to play a stream audio file according to the surround configuration.
