PURPOSE: An attenuation hinge for extending the lifetime of components which are mounted in the first and second bodies is provided to control the rotation of the housing by rotating a second shaft through the rotation of the first shaft. CONSTITUTION: A housing assembly(20) is connected to a portable communications device. A cam surface is formed in the inside of the housing assembly. The cam surface comprises a first inclined unit and a second declined unit which face with each other. A shaft assembly(22) is expanded to penetrate the housing assembly. The shaft assembly supports attenuation. The attenuator goes in gear through the shaft assembly with the cam surface.
