This is a culinary article comprising a metal dish (1b) defining locally a base where the dish is lined with an added insert (1a) made of a harder metal than the metal of the dish and typically fixed to the dish by perforations or teeth defining male/female engagements (231, 310). Around the perforated or toothed area (231) of the insert (1a) is a peripheral contact surface area (25) lower down, continuously solid, in the shape of a crown, in said harder metal. The insert is inserted from a shape in the form of a flat plate or cap.
