<p>The hot glue applicator is esp. for edge glueing machines. Glue is melted in a melting chamber, and applied under pressure to the glue applicator (3). The glue is pressed from a magazine (28) by a power-driven advance into contact with a heated melting wall. The front edge (10) of a work piece (1) actuates a second feeler valve (9), which in turn causes the feeder movement of the advance. This movement is maintained by actuation of a first feeler valve (8) by the work piece edge. Release of the first valve by the workpiece rear edge (11) ends the feeder movement.</p> |
