<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a precise steering angle, by eliminating the influence of peripheral temperature appearing in a steering angle calculated by the combination of detection values of a shaft angle detector and a motor angle detector. <P>SOLUTION: The peripheral temperature of a steering mechanism 1 is detected by a temperature sensor 8, and the detected temperature is given to a steering angle calculating portion 7. When the steering angle is calculated by the combination of the detection value of the shaft angle detector 5 and the detection value of the motor angle detector 6, the steering angle calculating portion 7 corrects the detection value of the shaft angle detector 5 or the motor angle detector 6 according to the detected temperature of the temperature sensor 8, and calculates the steering angle by using the corrected detection value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
