<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED mounting structure excellent in assemblability, which clearly displays a character and a pattern by LEDs mounted at narrow pitches, even when using a rear cover made of resin in optional shape, and to provide a mobile terminal equipped therewith. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The LED mounting structure has a plurality of LEDs 1 arrayed and arranged on a substrate in a prescribed pattern, a silicon rubber 2 having a hole 21 formed at a position corresponding to each of the LEDs 1, and the transparent rear cover 3 constituting a housing in which the substrate and the silicon rubber 2 are housed. The side of the silicon rubber 2 opposed to the rear cover 3 has substantially the same shape as an inner surface of the rear cover 3, and light emitted from each of the LEDs 1 is guided to the rear cover 3 through the corresponding hole 21 formed on the silicon rubber 2.
