PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeder simple in constitution for stably feeding sheets while effectively performing air assisted separation in a favorable separative manner without depositing water droplets on the sheets, and to provide an image forming device. SOLUTION: The sheet feeder includes a sheet storage part 8 for storing bunched sheets (not illustrated), a sheet feeding means 9 for feeding the sheets, a blowing means (not illustrated) for blowing air to the sheets, and a blow port 21 from which air is blown by the blowing means. The blow port 21 is provided in opposition to the upper side end of the bunched sheets. First heating means 51a, 51b are provided on the horizontal side of the blow port 21 at almost the same height as sheet carriage plane P with respect to the blow port 21 for heating the sheets.
