PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an approaching vehicle with high accuracy by detecting other moving objects by radio communication between a vehicle and a vehicle. SOLUTION: A accident prevention system 1 of a vehicle mounted with a radio communication part 2 for performing radio communication is provided with an on-vehicle computer 4 for performing accident warning. The on-vehicle computer 4 functions as a determining part 41 for determining that there is the possibility that a door will be opened when a vehicle engine stops, and as an approaching vehicle detecting part 43a for making the radio communication part 2 perform communication with a radio communication part mounted on another vehicle, acquiring position information of the another vehicle and detecting the approaching vehicle that approaches the vehicle. The on-vehicle computer 4 locks doors so as to prevent the doors from being opened when detecting the approaching vehicle with the possibility that the doors will be opened.
