<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress effect caused by gain change according to change of a supply current. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A tuner has a plurality of circuit components of an RF amplifier unit, a mixer unit, an IF amplifier unit, and the like. If amounts of supply currents to these circuit components change, a gain of the circuit component may also change. Then, a gain of the RF amplifier unit or the IF amplifier unit is substantially changed at the same time of the change of the supply current so as to negate a change Δg occurring in the gain of the circuit component caused by the change of the supply current to the circuit component.
