<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kitchen knife stand with a code lock simpler in unlocking operation to the code lock. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The kitchen knife stand 1 supporting a grip part of a kitchen knife so that a blade part faces downward includes a casing 2 having an upper wall part 10 for supporting the grip part from below, and a slip-off stop member 3 switchable over to one of a first position A preventing the slip-off of the blade part penetrating the upper wall part 10 from above, and a second position B allowing the blade part to slip off upward. The kitchen knife stand 1 includes the code lock 4 locking the slip-off stop member 3 in an unlockable manner and having its code arranged in a position visible from above the casing 2.
