<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve measurement accuracy of a size necessary for inspection of a product by using CAD data for product design and measuring point group data. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a noncontact-type three-dimensional size measuring device 1 for measuring the size of each portion of a measuring object, in a connected state to a driving unit 3 for moving in parallel or moving rotatably a product 5, which is an inspection object and to a laser scanner 4 for scanning the product 5 by irradiating laser light thereto, first of all, data for size measurement for specifying a portion whose size is to be measured are added to three-dimensional CAD data for product 5 design. Then, point group data, including three-dimensional coordinate values on a point of the product 5, to which the laser light is irradiated are generated, based on the scanning result by the laser scanner 4, and the three-dimensional CAD data to which the data for size measurement are added are superimposed on the point group data. Finally, the size of the portion specified by the data for size measurement is measured, relative to the superposed point group data.
