<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling an automatic transmission wherein delay (time difference) between (operation based on) the desire of a driver and the reaction of a car is minimized, and traveling comfort is improved particularly in a starting process. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for controlling the automatic transmission in a power train (driving force transmission system) of an automobile, when the desire for starting of the driver is detected, the starting process is carried out through at least one transmission control unit for controlling a clutch control part and a transmission control part in order to transmit the torque between a driving engine and the transmission in the power train. When detecting the desire of the starting, it is verified whether the driving engine is in an active state or not, and the clutch in an opening state is adjusted to a contact point for transmitting the torque. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
