PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clean a head so that a mixed bubble may be eliminated quickly when the bubble is determined to be mixed during flushing in a droplet delivering device. SOLUTION: When there is a possibility that an ink cartridge cover 2b has been opened and the bubble has invaded into an ink feed passage,ΔN1 is added to a counted value Na of a cleaning strength setting counter N. In the head cleaning performed when detecting a poor nozzle, if the counted value Na exceeds a threshold Nmax, the head cleaning with the highest cleaning strength (CL4) is performed. Since theΔN1 is added to the counted value Na when the ink cartridge cover 2b is opened at flushing, an execution time of the cleaning (CL4) is shortened by an amount of the addition, and the mixed bubbles can be discharged from the nozzle quickly.
