<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel loader excellent in acceleration by solving an engine output power shortage while reducing fuel consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The wheel loader for performing a work by driving a hydraulic pump for driving a working machine and driving wheels, by means of an engine, includes: a first electric motor capable of transmitting torque to the driving wheels; an electricity storage means for transferring electric energy to and from the first electric motor; and a controller for controlling an electricity generation operation of the first electric motor for receiving torque transmission from the driving wheels and generating electricity during a deceleration operation of the vehicle, and storing generated electric energy in the electricity storage means. The controller controls motor operation of the first electric motor for receiving the electric energy stored in the electricity storage means and transmitting torque to the driving wheels when a vehicle speed of the wheel loader is lower than a set vehicle speed and an accelerator is in full operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
