<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for a fuel cell, excellent in strength and corrosion resistance, and low in connection resistance, and a method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The separator for the fuel cell includes a metal substrate 2 made of copper or copper alloy, a copper thin film layer 4, an intermediate layer 5, and a conductive resin layer 6 formed by electrodeposition to coat the metal substrate 2 through the copper thin film layer 4 and the intermediate layer 5.
