<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel rolling bearing capable of inhibiting surely the vibration and noise of a retainer and at the same time maintaining a sufficient lubrication using a small amount of lubricant. <P>SOLUTION: A radial-type rolling bearing 100, wherein annular shielding plates 150, 150 extending in the direction of a rotary wheel 110 in a flange shape so as to face the edge surface of a retainer 140 are provided at both axial ends of a stationary wheel 120, and a predetermined clearance S is formed between the rotary wheel 110 side circumferential surfaces of the shielding plates 150, 150 and the orbital surface 111 of the rotary wheel 110 facing the circumferential surface.
