FUEL SAVING DRIVE DIAGNOSIS DEVICE, ON-VEHICLE SYSTEM, DRIVE CONTROL DEVICE, AND FUEL SAVING DRIVE DIAGNOSIS PROGRAM

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a driver aware of wasteful fuel consumption due to unnecessary idling and improve the driver's consciousness of a fuel saving drive by determining an idling state only for a parked vehicle without intention of traveling. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A fuel saving drive diagnosis device detects stop of the vehicle based on vehicle speed, and detects an idling states indicating that the vehicle is idling when engine speed of the vehicle which is detected as stopping is not less than a prescribed threshold. The fuel saving drive diagnosis device determines whether the vehicle under the idling state is in a parking state or not based on a select lever and/or a parking brake of the vehicle in the detected idling state. Then, the fuel saving drive diagnosis device diagnoses fuel saving drive based on idling parking time during which the vehicle is kept in the parking state. Ž<P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT Ž
