摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railway-vehicle drive control device that can start a power conversion means, while preventing a transient current or a torque shock of a permanent-magnet type synchronous motor, when starting the power conversion means from a state that a railway vehicle travels by inertia. <P>SOLUTION: The railway-vehicle drive control device is provided with a starting command output means that outputs a first power conversion circuit starting command, which starts the ON/OFF operation of a switching element of a first power conversion circuit 12, and a second power conversion circuit starting command which starts ON/OFF operation of a switching element of a second power conversion circuit 22, when a power conversion means 10 starts operation. The device is also provided with a DC voltage command calculation means that calculates and outputs a DC voltage command value, which is the target value of a DC voltage, outputted by the first power conversion circuit after executing power conversion, by using the first power conversion circuit starting command, the second power conversion circuit starting command, and the output of a DC voltage detecting means as the input. The device is further provided with a control means that executes ON/OFF control of the switching element of each of the first/second power conversion circuits, by using the first power conversion circuit starting command, the second power conversion circuit starting command, the output of the DC voltage detecting means, and the DC voltage command value as the input. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
