<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode plate capable of restraining generation of gas caused by decomposition of materials of a positive electrode plate and a negative electrode plate generated by enlarging a calorific amount and boiling and decomposition of an electrolyte, since internal short-circuit caused by contact between the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate occurs due to damage on a separator in a battery when a physical shock is externally given to the nonaqueous secondary battery or it is charged by excessive current. <P>SOLUTION: After forming a positive electrode plate 3 where a positive electrode mixture layer 2 is formed by coating positive electrode mixture paint on a positive electrode collector 1 or a negative electrode mixture layer 5 by coating negative electrode mixture paint on a negative electrode collector 4, a porous insulating layer 7 containing tetrapod-shaped whiskers is formed on an outer surface of the positive electrode mixture layer 2 or the negative electrode mixture layer 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
