PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of further effectively restraining its shoulder part from being eccentrically worn while keeping the rigidity of a tread. SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire 1 includes a main groove 50 extending linearly along the tire circumferential direction, and a land part 60 which is adjacent to the main groove 50 and disposed outside in the tread width direction W. The pneumatic tire 1 also includes a transverse groove 10 which continues from the main groove 50 and has a transverse groove end 10a terminated on the side of the main groove 50 rather than a shoulder end S1, a transverse groove 20 which is opened in the shoulder end S1 and has a groove end 20a terminated on the side of the shoulder end S1 rather than the main groove 50, and a sipe 30. The transverse groove end 10a is positioned on the side of the main groove 50 rather than the groove end 20a. The sipe 30 is configured such that a sipe end 30a is terminated on the side of the shoulder end S1 rather than the groove end 20a, and a sipe end 30b continues from the main groove 50.
