PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus which can be utilized by having an operator quickly change the state of steam to be jetted, in a steam generator for hairdressing. SOLUTION: In the apparatus capable of jetting steam having a pressure obtained by heating water inside a sealed tank 1 from a steam jetting portion 5, a nozzle having a steam jetting port is mounted on the steam jetting portion, and a nozzle cap having a mesh net is freely detachably mounted so as to cover the front of the nozzle. Two or more kinds of the nozzle caps having the mesh nets of different mesh coarseness are prepared, and by changing the nozzle cap, the state of the steam to be jetted is changed.
