OPTICALLY UNIFORM DEVICE, OPTICAL SHEET, AND BACK LIGHT UNIT AND DISPLAY DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical member capable of reducing/eliminating a lamp image by uniformly emitting incident light from a plurality of light sources dealing with a widened interval between CCFLs and a narrowed distance between a CCFL and a panel accompanying energy saving and thinness; and to provide a backlight unit and a display device.

SOLUTION: An optically uniform device 11 includes an optical deflection element 5 on which light from a light source is made incident and an optical propagation layer 6 disposed on a light emission surface of the optical deflection element 5. The deflection element 5 is e.g. an optical deflection lens having at least one or more kinds of concavo-convex shapes. The optical propagation layer 6 has at least one or more light reflection transmission layers 6b and light diffusion layers 6c. The light reflection transmission layer 6b has both light reflectivity and optical transparency.
