<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Ni-Cr-Al alloy base material after solid-solution heat-treatment, having good workability, in which a prescribed strength is obtained with a precipitation-hardening heat-treatment. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This Ni-Cr-Al alloy base material has the alloy composition containing, by mass, 34-40% Cr, 3.4-4.2% Al, 0.2-2.5% Mo, ≤0.5% Si, ≤0.5% Mn, ≤2% Fe, <0.3% Ti+Nb+Ta+V+Zr and the balance Ni with inevitable impurities and satisfying 41%>Cr+0.54Mo+0.9Fe>36%, and has ≤400 HV the maximum hardness in the cross sectional surface.
