A panorama generator (60) for generating a user-defined panorama consisting of a plurality of images generated by different medial and surgical equipment. The panorama generator receives from plural devices that generator images image-defining data. The panorama generator determines if the image-defining data contains data the user wants displayed. If the determination is positive, the panorama generator sizes and positions the data so that the display presents the image in the user-designed location and size on the presented panorama.
