<p>An ultrasonic hand piece has a horn, piezoelectric crystals, and a cutting tip. The piezoelectric crystals and cutting tip are coupled to the horn. A centerline of the piezoelectric crystals is offset from a center line of the cutting tip such that oscillatory movement is produced in the cutting tip when the piezoelectric crystals are excited.</p>
