PURPOSE: A rotating device for a dual axis solar tracking system and a driving method thereof are provided to minutely control a pivot axis by forming an axis bearing inside a housing. CONSTITUTION: A rotating device for a dual axis solar tracking system comprises a first and a second flange part(111,112), a pivot axis gear, a reducer(230), a housing, and a fixing member. The first and the second flange part are positioned at the upper end of the column member consisting of cylindrical steel. The pivot axis gear is installed to be apart from the second flange part. The reducer is positioned on one side of the second flange part and engages with the pivot axis gear. The housing is fixed on the second flange part. The fixing member fixes the pivot axis below the first flange part. |
