The invention relates to a messaging system, having an input unit (10; 10'), at which messages (N) can be formulated and at least one condition (B) can be specified, upon receiving of which said messages (N) are to be output, and having a comparison unit (20; 20') at which information (I) that describes a current state and/or a current environment of the input unit (10; 10') and/or of the comparison unit (20; 20') can be detected, wherein the input unit (10; 10') and the comparison unit (20; 20') are connected or can be connected to each other via a respective interface for transmitting said messages (N), and the comparison unit (20; 20') is configured to output individual messages (N) if the specified condition(s) (B) thereof is/are fulfilled by information (I) describing the current state and/or the current environment of the units (10, 20). The invention further relates to a respective messaging method.
