A drive device (10) equipped with a curvature displacement member (5), one end of which is anchored and the curvature displacement of which is excited, a friction member (3) having one of the surfaces of the curvature displacement member (5) that deflects in the curvature displacement direction linked to the free end of the curvature displacement member (5), and a driven body (2) that is in frictional contact with the friction member (3). Thus, the drive device (10) has a structure whereby the position of the friction member (3) is not influenced by the dimensional tolerance in the longitudinal direction of the curvature displacement member (5), so the friction member (3) and the driven body (2) can be brought into contact with high positional precision. Therefore, the drive stability of the driven body (2) can be improved.
