A circuit for adjusting the phase of an AC voltage, especially an auxiliary colour carrier voltage. From an AC voltage of given phase, two further AC voltages are derived, nearly in antiphase; the phase of one is shifted capacitatively and that of the other inductively by about the same angle. These two derived voltages are then superimposed with oppositely adjustable amplitudes. The circuit used may have an input to the primary of a transformer (6) with a centre-tapped secondary (13, 14) connected to an RC element (15, 18) at one end and another (16, 17) at the other end, these elements having respectively low-pass and high-pass characteristics. The outputs of the RC units are connected to the two ends of a potentiometer (25). |
