PURPOSE: A block retaining wall structure is provided to improve safety of a retaining wall structure against the horizontal load and shearing force. CONSTITUTION: A block retaining wall structure comprises front block walls(10a) and rear block walls(10b). The front block walls are formed in a terraced shape to have a slope in an inclined direction of a cutting area. The rear block walls are contiguous to the inner side of the front block walls so that the height of a vertical contact surface of the rear block walls is not accorded with the height of a vertical contact surface of the front block walls. |
