PURPOSE: A method for struvite crystallization is provided to selectively or at the same time remove phosphorus and/or nitrogen from wastewater containing the phosphorus and/or the nitrogen by efficiently forming struvite without injection of an alkaline agent. CONSTITUTION: A method for struvite crystallization comprises the following steps: converting organic compounds to biogas by flowing wastewater containing phosphorus and nitrogen to an anaerobic reactor; flowing out processing water; adjusting pH of the water in a range of 8.4-9.2 by degassing carbon dioxide and ammonia; and forming struvite by supplying one or more compound selected from a group consisting of a compound containing magnesium, a compound containing calcium, a compound containing ammoniacal nitrogen and a compound containing phosphate(20).
