PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information about a meeting rate in actually hitting a ball (display of meeting rate history information or the announcement of good shot, etc.) to a user so as to be easily understood. SOLUTION: In a golf support system, a speed measuring instrument has an announcement means for obtaining a head speed and a ball speed accompanying the swing of a golf club and the meeting rate, and announcing the good shot when the obtained meeting rate exceeds a reference meeting rate. The meeting rate history information obtained by the speed measuring instrument is transmitted to a PC. The PC displays the head of the golf club as a background, performs plotting toward the center of the graphic of the head when the meeting rate is higher, and performs plotting toward the peripheral part of the graphic of the head as the meeting rate becomes lower.
