<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small liquid drive type motor (liquid drive type fan) with low operation noise not generating electromagnetic waves. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A liquid channel 11 and a pump chamber 12 connected to the channel 11 are formed in a body. A drive shaft 20 is rotatably supported by a body 10, an impeller 50 and a propeller 60 are fixed on the drive shaft 20 in such a manner that the same can rotate as one unit. The impeller 50 receives movement of liquid in the channel 11 and rotates. A piezoelectric/electrostrictive element 70 is fixed on an outer surface of a part 15 of an outer wall of the body 10 constructing the pump chamber 12. Liquid in the pump chamber 12 is pressure-fed toward the channel 11 by changing volume of the pump chamber 12 by deformation of the part 15 of the outer wall by drive of the piezoelectric/electrostrictive element 70. Consequently, the liquid drive type motor (fan) converting motion of pressure-fed liquid to rotary motion of the impeller 50 and driving and rotating the drive shaft 20 (propeller 60) is provided.
