<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide iron fine particles in which an aspect ratio is low, the average particle diameter is small, and a crystalline size is controlled for controlling its coercive force, and to provide a production method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The iron fine particles are obtained by subjecting fine particles obtained by reducing iron ions with a reducing agent to heat treatment in an inert atmosphere, and are composed of a magnetic substance essentially consisting of α iron, and in which an aspect ratio is ≤1.5, the average particle diameter is ≤300 nm, the crystalline size is 200 to 800 A, saturation magnetization is ≥80 emu/g, and coercive force is ≤300 Oe. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
