DATA REPRODUCING METHOD, AND OPTICAL RECEIVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data reproducing method for adjusting a logical determination level in a short time in response to the state of a waveform in an optical signal without complicating a device configuration.

SOLUTION: A line L1 expresses a virtual first signal which rises from the bottom value of the optical signal in response to the previously calculated rising coefficient of the optical signal. A line L2 expresses a virtual second signal which falls from the peak value of the optical signal at the same timing as the rising start timing of the first signal in response to the previously calculated falling coefficient of the optical signal. The cross point of the lines L1 and L2 is calculated. The signal value of the calculated cross point is set in the logical determination level for discriminating a logical value included in data in the optical signal, based on the optical signal.
