PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cement admixture where an alkali-silica reaction in mortar and concrete can be effectively suppressed and where high resistivity against neutralization, salt damage and freezing and melting is exhibited. SOLUTION: In the cement admixture containing a lithium-type zeolite and a polymer, the lithium-type zeolite is EDI type, ABW type or a heat-treated material of them, the content of lithium in the lithium-type zeolite is 5% or more in terms of Li<SB>2</SB>O, the total content of Na<SB>2</SB>O and K<SB>2</SB>O is less than 0.5% and the content of the polymer is 5-95 pts. and the content of the lithium-type zeolite is 5-95 pts.
