<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb the dimensional difference due to difference in linear expansion coefficient without enlarging an image forming apparatus and to suppress loosening of fixing tools due to thermal expansion/contraction, in the image forming apparatus having a frame which includes a sheet metal frame and a resin frame fixed to each other. <P>SOLUTION: An annular contact part 327 surrounding a hole 320 like a ring and projecting is formed on a side surface on the side of a sheet metal frame 100 of a resin frame 300. Therefore, an edge part 321 of the hole 320 rises from the sheet metal frame 100, and a stage screw 420 includes a head part 423 brought into contact with or pressed to the edge part 321 when being fastened up a stepped part 421 up to contact with the sheet metal frame 100. Therefore, the resin frame 300 in the vicinity of the fixed part is moved relatively to the sheet metal frame 100 within a range of the hole 320 constituted so as to have a large diameter though receiving a frictional force from the sheet metal frame 100 and the head part 423 of the stage screw 420, whereby the dimensional difference due to difference in linear expansion coefficient is absorbed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
