In a single lens reflex camera having interchangeable objectives, an exposure meter, incorporated in the viewfinder, comprises a convergent optical system forming an image of the object being photographed on a photo-sensitive surface of the exposure meter the size of the conjugate image of the photo-sensitive surface being less than the exit pupil of any of the obectives. In one embodiment, Fig.1, the convergent optical system, comprises convex mirror 6, lens 7 having a diaphragm 7a and plane mirror 8, diaphragm 7a and film 5 in image frame 4 being respectively conjugate with objective 1. In another embodiment, Fig. 5 (not shown) the diaphragm (7a) is placed on the conjugate surface to the film (5) and the lens (7) behind the diaphragm. In another embodiment, Fig. 3 (not shown) a plane mirror (6) replaces the convex mirror (6). In a fourth embodiment, Fig. 7 (not shown) a concave mirror (8) replaces the lens (7). |
