<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film having new composition exhibiting the wavelength dispersion characteristics such that as a wavelength at least in the visible light range becomes shorter, a birefringence becomes smaller (reverse wavelength dispersion characteristics). <P>SOLUTION: This optical film includes a layer formed of a resin (A) having a molecular structure shown in formula (1).
