<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an onboard television tuner which is easily mounted, has simple configuration and further is freely disposed at any arbitrary position for easy operation. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The onboard television tuner 10 includes a tuner body 11, a stay 12 and a plug 13. The tuner body 11 formed by housing a circuit board 25 in a flat box-like casing 15 outputs a television broadcast wave of a digital communication system received by an antenna 18 and tuned by an operating section 16 from a video output terminal 17. The stay 12 is formed from a rod body consisting of a flexible aluminum alloy and for the stay, a synthetic resin tubular body is inserted through a bellow-shaped stay cover 14. The plug 13 is constituted of an insulated synthetic resin approximately hollow tubular body.
